Cross Country 2010

Once again I am on the cross country team. This year is a lot different from last year. Last year I wasn't having a very good attitude about cross country. I was trying to take short cuts. This season of cross country I gave my all and it has paid off. The girl's cross country took second at districs on thursday! The boys took first! This is the first time in forever that the girls have made it to state! It was an awesome feeling knowing that I would be going too!
Drill team is going good too. We have danced at the football games and each time it just gets better and better.
Homecoming came and went fast. No powder puff this year. I did sign up for it though. I took a couple of pictures of homecoming game. We won by the way. :) Ya, that's right, we are pretty awesome. :)
Well that's all that has happened recently. We got a speech before we ran at districts and this is somthing that stayed with me. The tropies don't matter. The place we get doesn't matter. What matters is did you have fun? So did you have fun. :) I had fun!!

Monterey Bay, California

This summer my whole family and I went to Monterey Bay, California. It was a blast. Before we got to the condo we went the garlic capital of america. You could smell the garlic in the air. :P Also we tried garlic ice cream. Trust me, it is not good at all. The taste stays in your mouth. YUCK!!The moment we got into the condo we went to the beach. We were even in our everyday clothes and we got DRENCHED. Maybe that was just me but it was still fun.

The next day we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We spent all day there. My favorite exibit was the jellyfish. Those who know me know that I have gotten stung by a jellyfish before. But it was still my favorite. There were big ones that are longer that my brothers are tall. :) We were also able to see them feed most of the animals. It was so cool.

The next day we had a break from running around. We went to the beach all day. We made sand castles that looked like a pyrimid and a wall to stop the waves. :) Sadly we all got burnt some way or another. Ben got it the worst.

We went to Alcatraz the next day! We got tickets to ride the ferry over. When we got there we did an audio tour. It was amazing/creepy/cool/insane. On the way back Nate, Donnell, and I went to the front of the boat and got sprinkled on. It was a way fun trip! :D

Sophomore year is over

There is no excitement. Yes, I'm excited for summer, but I'm going to miss the social part of school. Now we have our year books. It is rockin' awesome.:) I am now sixteen. My birthday was last week and it was a blast. I had a party a week before that. That was way fun too. We played missionary tag and watched a movie. The movie was outside so it was a little bit cold, but still at least there was no rain. :) Back to school. I just can't believe that half of my high school career is over!?!?! I'm a juinor now!! That seems so old. :) Nick has graduated from high school. Nate and Donnell have a puppy named Gus. Lastly is Ben, or should I say Ben and Alyssa. They got married! I got another sister!!! :) So that is a catch up on my life. There is one quote that would go with my life right now. "Popularity ends on yearbook day, but respect lasts forever".

BPA State 2010

I went to state in Boise, ID, and it was a blast. Those moments I will never forget. I was with Elora and Samantha Winward and that is what made it soo much fun! We went to a resturant and we were the youngest people there. Samanthat said that we were most likely the first person under the age of 65 in years beacause our waiter gave us a coloring book!:D After we had eaten, we were REALLY hyper. We gave each other grandma names. Mine is Dorthy, Elora's is Conia, and Samantha's is Lila.
But there was a problem, it wasn't just the food that was making up go bonkers. It was the hotel! On the wall in our room there was a painting of weeds. The three of us think that that is what made us insane for a little bit because the adults were going crazy too! Mr Telford was a crazy driver! It was haliarious!:D I am sad that it is over but yet i am glad. :D

BPA 2010

Again, this year, I was involved in BPA. It was a blast like last year. This year I was in a speaking where I show up, they give you the topic, you write a little 3 minute speach and then you are done. I got 5th. I dont know how many people that is out of but the judges really liked my begining and the end was really weak. One of them said that the end had some potential. Not only that, but I was with a couple of really good friends that made it a blast too.

Sophomore Year is almost over?!?!?!

It is true. Half of my sophomore year is done! It feels so weird. Drill team is going great. I am starting to love it more this year than last year. It is a blast. We go to competition and we are taking three dances to it. One of them is a prop dance and it is the best dance EVER! :) We have ten girls on drill team this year. That is less than last year but we get along really well. They are all like sisters to me. :D I am loving this year. Just about all of my classes are a blast now.
